OEM Integration
Equipment makers, integrators, and EMS vendors can build their products on the Energy Quotient™ platform instead of developing waveform measurement from scratch. You partner with us at the level your product needs: the circuit board, the sensor’s firmware, the gateway software, or the user interface. Each level is available by arrangement, scoped with your team. Your code goes through the same development and release infrastructure we use for our own products.
Four Levels to Build On
Circuit Board
We work with your hardware team to bring EQ Wave™ measurement inside your product: our standard sensor and gateway installed in your enclosure, EQ Wave as a module, or a co-designed board.
Sensor Firmware
Your application runs on EQ Wave’s Arm Cortex-M microcontroller at the point of measurement, with full-bandwidth, low-latency access to the AC waveform: continuous point-on-wave (CPOW) data at 32 ksps per channel. With no gateway or network in the loop, it can act on what it measures or report its own specialized analysis and metrics. This suits fielded applications from event detection and protective logic to demodulation of communication signals carried on the power line. Your application builds against a versioned C interface to our board support and real-time integration.
Gateway Software
Your application runs on the gateway beside EQ Coherence™, linked to our embedded real-time waveform runtime through a C interface for direct access to live waveforms with no network hop. A partner already runs its application this way in production. EQ Coherence is written in Rust for Linux, and we can build it for most Linux-based industrial computers, gateways, and controllers. You can license our analytics and AI libraries for your own software, or have us build a custom AI integration for your application around EQ Syntropy™.
User Interface
Your team can build its own interface on the waveform and metrics streams every gateway serves through REST and WebSocket APIs, Modbus TCP, and MQTT, directly or through our open-source Python toolkit. We also build interfaces to your requirements, from an operator panel on your equipment to a dashboard beside your process data, as we did for the Control Room.
Develop and Test Through Our Pipeline
Your code is built and tested the way ours is: automated build checks, signed firmware images, testing on bench rigs of EQ Wave sensors and gateways with live waveforms, and delivery to installed units as field updates through the gateway. You see your application working on real measurements before it reaches your product. Once your product is fielded, its gateways stay reachable for support and updates from anywhere in the world. Connections run over an encrypted network overlay, with a certificate identity for every device and access scoped by group and revocable at any time.
Commercial Terms
Your product carries your brand, with an “Energy Quotient™ inside” mark that credits the EQ platform. Licensing is per product or per unit, set with each partner.
