Custom Applications
We have the engineering and infrastructure to design, test, and release custom software applications on the Energy Quotient™ platform: application-specific signal processing, user interfaces, APIs, and network communication protocols. Depending on your needs, we can scope the work as a turnkey service or in collaboration with your technical team.
What We Build
- Signal processing and algorithms: detection and classification of the events and signatures that matter in your facility, extraction of what your application needs from the raw waveform (such as communication signals carried on the power line), and control logic delivered through waveform-grounded control.
- User interfaces: operator panels for specific equipment, site overviews on your own single-line diagram, and dashboards that put power data beside your process data. Our Control Room is an example.
- APIs and communication protocols: connections between the platform and the systems you already run, from your own applications to SCADA, building, and energy management systems.
How It Runs
Everything works from the continuous waveform record in EQ Coherence™ and runs on your EQ Gateway, so it works on isolated networks. Algorithms can run inside your own software through EQ’s embedded real-time waveform runtime, which is in production use with a partner today, or inside EQ Coherence’s real-time pipeline, checked for safety before they run, which is in development.
How We Work
- Scoping: we agree on what the application must see, decide, or do, and which data and equipment it covers.
- Prototype on live data: you review working results on data from your site or our lab, not mockups.
- Release: we test and deploy to your gateway, and hand over with documentation, or keep developing it with your team.
